With the holiday season usually comes lots of parties! Going to holiday parties is one of my favorite things about the holidays. I love spending time with my loved ones and eating all kinds of yummy food. If you are hosting your own party it may be a little bit more stressful. From the menu to the decor, there is a lot to think about. I wanted to share a few of my favorite tips with you so that you don't panic too much! Be sure to take time to enjoy your party.
Serve Easy Foods
Don't try out all new recipes for your party! If anything goes wrong, the panic will start to set up. Think about some of your old recipes that you absolutely love. You have made it so many times that it will be an easy recipe for you to whip up. Also think about serving finger foods! Something small and easy to snack on for people. lso think about easy foods that you don't have to cook. It will free up the oven for anything that you do have to cook.
Think about the cocktails ahead of time. You can make a signature cocktail for the night or even premix up a few. When a guest runs out, you won't have to constantly re make the cocktail. It will save a bunch of time and it's also fun to come up with a new favorite drinks.
Many times the host will take on the role of doing everything! If anyone wants to bring a dessert or a bottle of wine, let them! They are just trying to be nice and you will appreciate it so much when you run out of either!
