Finding Time For Self Care

In today’s world, everyone is busy. Jobs have taken up most of our time and the rest is full of family, friends and enjoying life.  Usually when you ask someone how they have been, a common answer is busy. It has become so much easier to be consumed with work, with new technology, etc.

The best way to actually find time for yourself is to put it in your planner and schedule it. Be sure not to skip it either. You can only work so well for someone else if you aren’t trying to better yourself. It is so important to take care of yourself first so you can be your best self in your work life and family life.

It doesn’t even have to be a long period of time. Start with scheduling 5-10 minutes each day. Over time you can increase the time and 15 to 20 minutes, etc. Schedule yourself first and then schedule everything else afterwards.

Making time for your own self care will make you feel SO good. It will improve your work/life balance, improve your health, reduce stress, give you more energy and even raise your self-esteem.
