When it comes to photography, so many people think you need all of the things to be a great photographer. I promise this is not the case. You don't need 5 different cameras with all of the lenses, flashes, lights, etc. It's okay to start small with a camera and find out what works for you and what doesn't. Everyone has their own creativity and style, allowing yourself to work with less equipment helps you break out of your shell and really get creative with what you have.
There are so many different cameras out there but my personal favorite is my trusty Nikon D3S. I use for absolutely everything, whether that be client sessions, vacations or just snapping a few pictures here and there. It is my favorite!
When it comes to boudoir, you want to use a lens that will work well with your clients and where your shoots are held. I personally love my 50mm lens. It does not distort body proportions and works really well in small spaces. A lot of my sessions are held in my client's bedrooms or in hotels so it is really important to me to have a lens that will work well in a tight space.
If you are worried that you don't have enough equipment for boudoir, don't worry! You can start small! You might even realize that the equipment that you thought that you needed, you don't need anymore!
