Simple Ways To Get New Clients

When you are first starting your photography business, it can be hard to find new customers. There are so many different ways to market yourself and your business that it can be a bit overwhelming. It's important to try out a few different methods. Find what works best for you and your business!

Social Media

Social Media can be so beneficial when it comes to getting new clients! From posting daily to engaging with your target audience, it's important to stay active and as genuine as possible. You never know who is following you or who will share your posts, so it's important to post consistently and on the platforms that your target audience hangs out at.

If you have a budget, I recommend advertising on Facebook and Instagram. They are both great platforms to advertise on because you can target a very specific audience. This is helpful because it ensures that your posts are being shown to a very specific audience, your target audience! Be sure to lead people to a specific page, not just your home page. They may not hire you right away but be sure to have a newsletter sign up box on the page you are sending them to.

Network

If your ideal target audience is brides, it's a smart idea to network with other wedding vendors! You never know who you will meet and what connections you can make. You don't have to do anything crazy, a quick introduction with a few business cards will do the trick. If you don't like to put yourself out there like that, you can always send a brief email and see if you can set up a quick coffee date.

Customer Service

This tip might seem a little silly but be sure to give every client the best customer service possible. Happy clients will want to refer you to their friends. The best compliment you can get is a referral! Once you get a few clients, it will help get you noticed by word of mouth.

These are just a few simple tips to start helping you get clients. It's a process and will take a lot of hard work to get your business off the ground but once it gets going, you are going to be busy! What is your favorite way to get boudoir clients?
