Spring Lingerie Trends

Even though it’s been cold and rainy here in Boston, it’s officially spring! One thing that I love about the spring is the new lingerie that I get to see in front of the camera. Winter sessions are full of dark tones (which I love!) but I love seeing the bright colors come back again. If you have a session booked this spring or just looking for new lingerie, here are a few new trends to keep your eyes open for!

Soft Cup Bralettes

We are seeing less and less push up bras and more bralettes! No one has time for uncomfortable bras, even when it comes to boudoir. Bralettes are great for boudoir and everyday wear. Soft cup bralettes are going to be everywhere in the next few months! They are extremely comfortable and come in so many different styles and materials.

Over the years, lace has become so incredibly popular but silk is starting to make a comeback. From bras to slips to even teddies, silk is showing up in all different styles and colors. It's a great way to add a different texture into your session and give your outfits a different look.

Who doesn't love a good floral print in the springtime? Florals are popping up in every aspect of lingerie. From teddies to bralettes, you will be seeing florals everywhere. A great way to mix up your images in your session is to mix and match different lingerie sets.

Another floral trend you may be seeing this spring is floral embroidery. It adds a different look to lingerie than the typical lace or satin.  It’s a fun way to switch up your everyday look and is beautiful in front of the camera. If you are a floral lover, this is definitely a trend to check out.

Plunge Bras

Plunge bras are making a comeback this year! Not only are they extremely sexy but they are great for different outfits! If you are wearing a low cut top or dress, these types of bras are great because your bra is not noticeable. They are also great for showing off a little bit more skin in your session.

These are just a few of my favorite trends this spring! From florals to embroidery details, there are so many new and exciting pieces coming out. I can’t wait to start seeing these pieces in the studio soon!
