On a day-to-day basis, this is absolutely fine but this is something that can build insecurities, especially during a boudoir session. This is a concern I hear more often than not from clients and I’m here to tell you it’s nothing to worry about!

How My Editing & Posing Help Avoid Your Lingerie from Digging In

You find the most gorgeous lingerie set, you try it on, and it’s digging into your hips or thighs. Maybe your boobs are a little squished. We all know this feeling all too well. Thankfully, over the years of not only shooting boudoir photography but also posing for my own boudoir photos, I’ve learned a thing or two to help avoid this. 

Purchase Lingerie that Fits Properly

The number one tip to help keep your lingerie from digging in is to get lingerie that fits properly. No matter what, lingerie is going to dig in a little, it’s a fact of life and part of the design but when you wear the proper sizing, it’ll eliminate extra digging and will be so much more comfortable.

To help avoid excessive digging, I’ll pose you in ways that causes less of it. These will be a mix of poses including, standing, sitting, and laying down and I’ll demonstrate how to do each one to make you feel more comfortable.

Lingerie is always going to dig in and squish a little and that’s totally normal! While the posing takes care of the majority of this, after our session, I’ll edit all of the images to make sure everything is nice and smooth.
